Roof Cost Calculator for Blanchard
Explore an architectural-asphalt replacement budget using measured roof surface or a footprint you already know. The assumptions stay beside the result.
Roof Calculator and the Roof Decision
A roof budget makes more sense when the measurement and included work are clear. This tool uses an October 2026 Oklahoma / OKC planning range of $4.50–$7.50 per measured roof-surface square foot for a 1,500–3,000 sq. ft. roof.
The example covers architectural asphalt, one existing layer, normal access, moderate complexity and usable decking. Hidden wood, extra layers and other trades are separate. Keep the sample inputs if you do not already know your roof measurements.

Try a Roof Replacement Planning Example
Keep the 2,000 sq. ft. example, or enter an area you already know. Roof footprint means the area covered, not total living space.
Keep the 6:12 example unless you already know the pitch. Pitch helps check material suitability.

How this planning range works
The illustrative range is $4.50–$7.50 per measured roof-surface square foot. It covers architectural asphalt replacement with one existing layer, normal access, moderate roof complexity and usable decking.
The roof-footprint option converts the area covered using the selected slope. A known roof-surface input is already measured along the slopes. The supported result remains 1,500–3,000 square feet of roof surface.
Decking discovered at removal, additional layers, structural changes, gutters and other trades need a project-specific allowance. This regional planning example is not a quote for your roof.
What the Roof Budget Includes
| Included assumption | Where the actual roof can differ |
|---|---|
| Architectural asphalt replacement | Metal, low-slope systems and specialty shingles need different pricing evidence. |
| One existing layer | Additional removal increases disposal and labor. |
| Usable decking | Damaged wood discovered during tear-off changes the supporting work. |
| Normal access and moderate complexity | Steep sections, restricted access and complicated transitions change labor and protection needs. |
Roof Calculator FAQs
Should I enter my home’s living space?
Use the roof footprint or measured roof surface. Living space can include an upstairs level and omit garage or porch roof areas, so it is not a reliable roof measurement.
What happens when I change the pitch?
The footprint option converts the covered area into sloped roof surface. A known roof-surface measurement is already along the slopes. Asphalt shingles require suitable slope, and this tool rejects a pitch below 2:12.
Why does the tool reject some sizes?
The regional evidence supports 1,500–3,000 square feet of roof surface. A footprint conversion must also stay inside that range. Contact us to discuss a roof outside the example.
